About the project
I developed a mobile app concept as part of the Udemy course Mobile App Design from Scratch with Adobe XD: UX and UI. The course covered core UI and UX principles and walked students through the full design process, starting with research and wireframing and ending with high‑fidelity visual design in Sketch. For my final project, I redesigned the Delta Airlines mobile app and applied the methods from each lesson to create a more intuitive, modern, and user‑friendly experience.
My target audience was individuals aged 20 to 28, so I created three detailed user personas that outlined their demographics, motivations, needs, and challenges. These personas shaped the direction of the app and helped me focus on the most important interactions. I researched a range of travel apps to gather inspiration for workflows and design patterns, then explored layout ideas through quick, iterative sketches. From there, I built wireframes and early prototypes that refined the core user flows, including a simplified login experience and key travel interactions.
Once the wireframes were finalized, I moved into visual design and selected colors, typography, and interactive elements that supported clarity and ease of use. Every decision was intentional, resulting in a cohesive, visually appealing, and user‑focused experience.
