Delta
I developed a mobile app concept as part of the Udemy course Mobile App Design from Scratch with Sketch 3: UX and UI. The course focused on core UI/UX principles and guided students through the full design process—from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity visual design using Sketch. For my final project, I redesigned the Delta Airlines mobile app, applying the skills and methodologies from each lesson to create a more intuitive, modern, and user-friendly experience.
My target audience consisted of individuals aged 20–28, so I created three detailed user personas to guide the app’s design by outlining their demographics, motivations, needs, and challenges. With these personas in place, I researched various travel apps to gather inspiration for workflows and design patterns. I began with quick, iterative sketches to explore layout ideas and identify intuitive user flows, then developed wireframes and early prototypes that refined these workflows—from a simplified login experience to key user interactions. Once the wireframes were finalized, I moved into visual design, carefully selecting colors, typography, and interactive elements to bring the interface to life. Every choice was intentional, resulting in a cohesive, visually appealing, and user-focused experience.
